“Jesus replied: ‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Matthew 22:37-39

Health Policy

The Session and Church School teachers of NDPC welcome all children on Sunday morning. However it is important for all parents to realize that in the event of an acute illness such as fever, cold, sore throat, earache, skin rash, eye infection, or cough you should keep your child at home; this is in the best interest of your child and the other children attending church school. If these symptoms appear while your child is in church school, you may be notified so that you can take your child home for his/her own sake and for the protection of the other children. Your child should be free of fever 24 hours before attending church school.

If your child has an allergy of any kind, please see that your teachers know what allergies he/she has and what the reactions are. If there are specific foods your child cannot eat let your teacher know.

Please notify NDPC in the event of head lice, chickenpox, measles, mumps, pinworms, strep or any other easily contagious viral or communicable illnesses. Parents may be notified if your child is exposed to contagious illnesses if indicated.

In the event of strep, conjunctivitis, and other bacterial infections, your child should be on antibiotics for 24 hours before coming to church school.

Thank you in advance for caring for all the children of the church by following these guidelines.
